How to make this recipe

- Step 1: Roughly chop the pecans and set them aside.

- Step 2: In a medium pot, on low heat add in the condensed milk and chocolate chips. Melt slow and stir continuously.

- Step 3: Once almost all of the chocolate chips are melted and it looks like chocolate frosting, remove from the heat and mix until all the chocolate chips are melted.

- Step 4: Quickly fold in the nuts.

- Step 5: Quickly add it to the 9×9 pan with a spatula and spread it out evenly.

- Step 6: Place it in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until set. Remove from the pan and slice into desired sized pieces.
Hint #1: Make sure all equipment being used has no water on it as water shocks chocolate and seizes it.
Hint #2: Do not be tempted to turn up the temperature when melting the chocolate chips, over heating will ruin the fudge.

Ingredients
- 1 300 ml can of sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans chopped
Instructions
- Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Roughly chop pecans and set them aside.
- In a medium pot on low heat, add in the chocolate chips and condensed milk.
- Slowly melt the chocolate chips over low heat, don’t be tempted to turn the heat up.
- Mix continuously with a spatula, making sure to scrape the bottom and sides.
- Once almost all of the chocolate chips are melted (only a few left to melt) and its thick and looks like chocolate frosting, remove from the heat and mix until all the chocolate chips are melted.
- Quickly fold in the nuts.
- Quickly add it to the pan and smooth out evenly.
- Place it in the fridge for 2 hours or until it's set.
- Once it's set, remove it from the pan and slice into desired sized pieces.
