Chocolate Pecan Fudge Recipe

A perfect treat for the holidays that's chocolatey and loaded with pecans
Serving Size 30 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 300 ml can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans chopped

Instructions

  • Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Roughly chop pecans and set them aside.
  • In a medium pot on low heat, add in the chocolate chips and condensed milk.
  • Slowly melt the chocolate chips over low heat, don't be tempted to turn the heat up.
  • Mix continuously with a spatula, making sure to scrape the bottom and sides.
  • Once almost all of the chocolate chips are melted (only a few left to melt) and its thick and looks like chocolate frosting, remove from the heat and mix until all the chocolate chips are melted.
  • Quickly fold in the nuts.
  • Quickly add it to the pan and smooth out evenly.
  • Place it in the fridge for 2 hours or until it's set.
  • Once it's set, remove it from the pan and slice into desired sized pieces.

Notes

Room temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Fridge: It will last up to 3 weeks in the fridge when stored in an airtight container.
Freezing:  They will last for up to 3 months in the freezer in an airtight container or freezer bag with parchment paper between each layer.
