Grandmas Orange Cool Whip Dessert
Grandmas orange cool whip dessert is a dream to eat. It is a light and fluffy dessert with each bite containing cool whip, mandarin oranges and cottage cheese. It is truly irresistible.

This is one of my favorite recipes and it came from my mother in law. I am lucky to have such a great cook as a mother in law as I have the advantage of the recipes she shares with me.
This one I remember trying for the first time at her house when we were visiting and having dinner there. I couldn’t stop eating it!
I asked her how she made it and she explained the simplicity of it. She was over joyed when I had asked for the recipe and if I could share it here with you!
I decided to call it Grandma’s orange cool whip dessert, after all she is grandma to our littles! There are so many different fluff salads like tropical fluff, strawberry Jello fluff, and dessert fluff with pineapple!

When to serve it
- At potlucks
- holiday get togethers
- When you need a quick dessert for company
Ingredients
- Cottage Cheese- A whole 500 ml container, not the dry curds
- Orange Jell-O- You can change the flavors if you’d like to
- Cool whip- The whole I liter container of cool whip, make sure its thawed
- Mandarin oranges- canned, and drained very well
How to make this recipe?

- Step 1: Add the container of cottage cheese to a bowl, then add in the Jell-O.

- Step 2: Mix it together well, until all the Jell-O crystals have dissolved.

- Step 3: Fold in the container of cool whip, then add the drained mandarins.

- Step 4: Mix it all together and place it in the fridge for at least one hour to set. Top with marshmallows if you’d like.
Its as simple as that, in a matter of minutes you have a dessert that is ready to go!
Hint: Make sure to strain mandarins very well before adding them to prevent extra liquid in the fluff salad.

Storage
Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. It may start to have some liquid at the bottom that can be strained off.
