Strawberry Milk Jell-O served in a white serving dish and garnished with a fresh strawberry

This recipe is so simple to make and comes together in just minutes. The presentation of this dessert is absolutely beautiful as well! I like to garnish mine with a fresh strawberry slice.

This recipe is a favorite of my family’s and everyone who has tried it seems to love it. The addition of milk along with the water makes such a difference in the flavor, and texture…A good difference!

What do you serve Milk Jell-O with?

I like to serve my milk Jell-O recipe topped with some homemade whipped cream and garnished with a strawberry slice. You can serve this recipe in one big bowl or in small serving bowls so everyone gets their own serving of dessert after a hearty meal.

Why you will love this recipe!

You will love this recipe because its very quick to put together, its easy and you probably have all the ingredients on hand.

This recipe is also adjustable, you can use different Jell-O flavors and garnish with a fresh piece of fruit. If you’re going to make orange Jell-O you could garnish it with a fresh mandarin slice.

FYI just don’t use lemon Jell-O, it wont set, it didn’t for me anyways.

Ingredients

Strawberry Jell-O- I used one package of strawberry Jell-O but you could use another flavor besides lemon as it wont set

Milk- I used whole milk as I always use that in all of my recipes

Water- Make sure to boil the water like you do when making regular Jello

How do you make Milk Jell-O?

  • Add the Jell-O to a medium sized bowl along with the water and mix it together until the Jell-O crystals dissolve
  • Sit out at room temperature to cool down a bit or the milk will curdle if you add it right away
  • Add the milk and mix
  • Leave it in the bowl or transfer it to individual sized serving bowls
  • Place it in the fridge until its set, this takes up to 4 hours.

Tip

Make sure to allow the Jell-O to cool at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes before adding the milk or else it will curdle.

Storage

Store it in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
