Cinnamon Honey Butter
I first fell in love with cinnamon butter when I was still living at home with my mom. It wasn’t homemade but it was from a little container from the grocery store that was referred to as cinnamon spread. To me and my little brothers, it was magic.
We used to load it onto toast like we had a never ending supply of it. It was our go to snack or quick breakfast that we could make for ourselves.

Now that I’m grown with a home of my own, I wanted to share that amazing flavor combination with my own family. So I decided to make my own version from scratch. Let me tell you…this recipe blew my mind the first time I tried it.
It’s smooth, sweet, and spiced just right and spreading it onto a slice of homemade toasted bread? Wow. It’s everything I remembered and more!
So here’s the recipe that I made for my brother to bring back memories from our childhood. Its made with real simple ingredients and comes together in minutes. Thank you, busy honey bees!
I hope this recipe is as dear to you as it is to us.

Cinnamon Honey Butter Ingredients
Ingredients are simple, which is something I love about it. I bet you already have these ingredients on hand and if not they’re easy to come by!
- Honey- I used creamy honey as it makes for easier mixing.
- Un-salted butter- If your butter is a bit firm you can soften it for about 5 seconds in the microwave. You’ll want to use softened butter for easy blending.
- Cinnamon- It’s the cinnamon that makes this honey butter out of this world. Once you try it, you’ll be looking forward to baking fresh bread just so you can spread this on it!

How to Make Honey Butter

- Step 1: Add all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix slightly so the cinnamon doesn’t go flying when beating with the hand mixer.

- Step 2: Beat with the hand mixer for 2 minutes or until well combined, light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl down when needed with a rubber spatula.

- Step 3: Add it to an airtight container or mason jar and place it in the fridge.
Tip: Remove it from the fridge at least 15 minutes before you plan to use it so it can spread easier.
