This simple nacho dip is a party favorite that disappears fast! It’s so simple to make, you’ll be wondering how something this easy can taste so irresistible. It’s one of those recipes that has everyone coming back for more and asking for the recipe!

I always get excited putting together movie night snacks. There’s nothing better than seeing my family’s faces light up when I set out all the munchies on the coffee table to enjoy along with the movie.

This easy nacho dip happens to be one of our favorites and I’m sure it will become one of our favorites too!

  • Cream Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Salsa
  • Cheddar Cheese

How to make this recipe

  1. Step 1: Using a hand mixer, blend the cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth.

  1. Step 2: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pie plate.

  1. Step 3: Add the salsa for the next layer and smooth it out.

  1. Step 4: Top it off with some shredded cheese.

Hint: Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for easy mixing or soften it in the microwave in short intervals.

Get creative with these additional toppings

There are so many ways to get creative with this recipe here are some more ideas:

  • Use homemade salsa instead of store bought
  • Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and green onions
  • Stir some taco seasoning into the cream cheese mixture
  • Top with jalapenos or sliced olives

Serve it in a shallow glass pie dish to see all the layers and for easy dipping.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/3 cup salsa
  • 1/2-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Add the cream cheese and sour cream to a mixing bowl and beat with the electric hand mixer until smooth.
  • Spread evenly into a shallow pie plate.
  • Add the salsa and spread evenly on top.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Serve with your favorite corn chips.
